The Duval Eye camera system can be automatically programmed to take pictures generated from motion detectors, infrared heat sensors, or many other types of remote event triggers. The camera system can be set to automatically take pictures at specific intervals of time, for example, once every 15, 30 or 60 minutes. This provides a time-lapse effect when viewing security, usage patterns, crowd levels and weather conditions over the course of several hours or each day. Breaches of security or secure areas can be effectively identified and tracked.
